We are pleased to mention that artist Judy Young's wood work views of Pelzer's historic buildings are currently on display inside Ashtabula Plantation located in Pendleton, South Carolina. Each piece is individually crafted and hand painted. Judy Young is a well regarded artist from Easley, SC. She has an extensive portfolio of mural work across South Carolina, as well as other painting and designing experience. Please consider visiting beautiful Ashtabula and viewing her delightful historic Pelzer Wooden Building Replicas collection.

In December of 2008 representatives of the Community of Pelzer Historical Society presented detailed information on the rare Jardine organ located inside the National Historic Register Pelzer Presbyterian Church. This historic information was presented to the congregation in honor of a founder of Pelzer, Captain Ellison Adger Smyth and preserved in a Light Impressions frame. This was made possible through the notable collaborative efforts of Ms. Mary Julia Royall of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and the Community of Pelzer Historical Society.
